This house is traditional, white stucco and a cross between a Danish farmhouse and a Georgian rectory, a shorthand description for something from a Merchant Ivory film.
Architect Andrew Nichols worked closely with the owners to create total symmetry in the structure of the property; aligning doors and windows in order to create vistas and views that expand space. The opposing French doors and windows embrace the English summer to its fullest.
The ground floor of the house consists of the main living room, over sized kitchen, small library, guest room and separate bathroom and the first floor; of a corridor with the master suite and five bedrooms leading off it. There are six bathrooms in the house.
7 (four of which are en-suite).
The house has a small garden and is surrounded by green fields.
This property is located in a small village in Oxfordshire, one hour from London and 25 Minutes from Oxford town.
Heathrow Airport is within an hour from this location.
