Santa Teresa is on the very southern point of the Nicoya Peninsula, just north of Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve, and situated between two small fishing villages: Malpaís to the south and Manzanillo to the North. Batik is located on the northern side of town, towards Manzanillo, on the ocean side.

Batik Villas can accommodate a group as small as a couple, when renting one of the casitas, or as large as 28, should you wish to hire the entire retreat for a family gathering or wedding/event.

The houses have been designed with Balinese and tropical influences, with bold colours and beautiful Indonesian antique furnishings. The architectural styling is very open and has been created with several seating and socializing areas. Each villa provides guests with a fully fitted kitchen, air conditioning in all bedrooms and a private swimming pool.

Surfing is one if the most popular activities in Santa Teresa. Santa Teresa and Playa Hermosa are perfect spots to surf with many beaches providing glassy waves and consistent surf. Playa Hermosa is a great spot to surf or to learn surfing. Playa Hermosa is located just in front of the Batik Villas. At Batik we work with two of the best surf instructors in the area.
If you are looking for an adventure in Santa Teresa you should go to one of the waterfalls. Montezuma is a really nice little town and there are three waterfalls and by some beautiful beaches.
Another one of the great activities in Santa Teresa is the all day boat tour and will include one or two hours snorkelling before getting to the island where they will grill fresh fish for you on the beach.
