Casa Macondo is a wonderful and spacious luxury villa that offers a group or family, the ultimate vacation home. Its vibrant colours and architectural style gives guests a relaxing and truly unique Costa Rican base from which to have an incredible vacation.

Inside

The villa has a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining room table perfect for dinner parties. You can lounge between the two living areas, one on the ground floor that opens to the lush garden and the private pool, and one on the large upstairs wooden deck that allows you to soak up the afternoon sunshine.

Bedrooms

1 Master Suite, 1 Queen Room and 1 Single Room. All three bedrooms have large ceiling to floor doors that completely open up to the patio or upstairs deck to bring the outside in but can, of course, be closed up completely for privacy and comfort when you want to use the A/C; they have delightfully large and comfortable beds with high quality mattresses, pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets.

Outside

Enjoy the Casa Macondo’s wonderful private pool or walk 2 minutes to the incredible Playa Hermosa through natural jungle and Howler monkeys overhead.The villa also has two outdoor spa bathrooms- one upstairs and a large one downstairs which allows one to enjoy the stars while showering in the evenings.

Case Macondo is part of the Batik Villas set, situated at the very northern part of Santa Teresa, by Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
The fastest route to Batik is by a small plane from San Jose’ international airport to Tambor airport. The plane ride is about 25 minutes.
Guests can fly commercial airlines or the concierge can use excellent charters that will pick guests up at the international airport and get them immediately to the private plane and fly them to Tambor. In Tambor a taxi can be sent to pick guests up and it is a 40 minute drive to the property.

  • Guests wishing to cook at home can enjoy using the fully equipped kitchen which opens onto a spacious dining area. There is a beautifully handcrafted table that can accommodate up to 12 people. Concierge can provide groceries delivered to the villa, but if guests would like to shop personally, there is  a small supermarket walking distance, or the larger ones are 5 minutes drive away.
  • The Batik concierge also have a selection of chefs available to come and cook for guests. Prices depend on your budget and level of service desired.

The Batik concierge will help to make your holiday as exciting as possible. They can organise local tours, arrange for one of the top local chefs to come and cook you a BBQ under the stars on Hermosa beach or bring you quality yoga instructors to give you private lessons in the Batik yoga shall.
