Casa Mali is part of the Batik Compound, a beautiful group of Casas set in idyllic seclusion and natural beauty. Each has it’s own swimming pool and is innately private.  Playa Hermosa is one of the best beaches in the country with pristine white sand, warm water and glowing ocean sunsets.

High Season (Nov.-Apr. & July-Aug.) : Prices from 475  dollars per night – plus 13% taxes.

Low Season (May-June & Sept.-Oct.): Prices from 375 dollars per night – plus 13% taxes.

Located in the private, tropical setting of Batik Costa Rica, Casa Mali has been built to enjoy the outdoors.  Created by local artisans, using traditional building techniques and certified materials, Batik Villas are stunning in design with an incredible attention to detail.

Inside

The living area is completely open, the high ceilings reveal beautiful bamboo beams and the fans throughout give the house a light and airy feel. There are multiple seating areas, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious dining area with a beautifully handcrafted table that can accommodate up to 12 people.

Bedrooms

Casa Mali offers 2 spacious bedrooms, one with a King size bed and the other with a Queen and an additional single bed. Both rooms have ceiling fans, air conditioning, orthopedic mattresses and 300 count cotton sheets.

Outside

The villa has it’s own private pool. After swimming, guests can shower under the stars in the open sky bathroom and enjoy the lush green garden.

Casa Mali is part of the Batik Villas set, situated at the very northern part of Santa Teresa, by Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
The fastest route to Batik is by a small plane from San Jose’ international airport to Tambor airport. The plane ride is about 25 minutes.
Guests can fly commercial airlines or the concierge can use excellent charters that will pick guests up at the international airport and get them immediately to the private plane and fly them to Tambor. In Tambor a taxi can be sent to pick guests up and it is a 40 minute drive to the property.

  • Guests wishing to cook at home can enjoy using the fully equipped kitchen which opens onto a spacious dining area. There is a beautifully handcrafted table that can accommodate up to 12 people. Concierge can provide groceries delivered to the villa, but if guests would like to shop personally, there is  a small supermarket walking distance, or the larger ones are 5 minutes drive away.
  • The Batik concierge also have a selection of chefs available to come and cook for guests. Prices depend on your budget and level of service desired.

The Batik concierge will help to make your holiday as exciting as possible. They can organise local tours, arrange for one of the top local chefs to come and cook you a BBQ under the stars on Hermosa beach or bring you quality yoga instructors to give you private lessons in the Batik yoga shall.
