Things to Do

The Mal Pais /Santa Teresa area on the Nicoya peninsula was not discovered by the surfing and tourist crowd up until 15 years ago. It is an understated gem of an area with fabulous stretches of white sandy beaches, warm ocean tides and thick tropical jungle. There is a lively stretch of continuous town that runs adjacent to the beaches scattered with rustic restaurants serving world class food, with organic and fresh ingredient and produce.

Guests can engage in a range of activities, such as yoga, pilates, horse riding, surfing, paddle boarding, jungle zip lining, waterfall tours and many more.

This area is home to the most magnificent beaches on the Pacific Coast. Playa Hermosa, Playa Santa Teresa and Playa Carmen – all 3 are on your doorstep.
