Fifteen minute drive to the Dorset coast.
The nearest village is Bransgore, with Burley, Christchurch, Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Lymington a few miles away.

Heathfield is located in the New Forest National Park, a protected expanse of woodland, wildlife and walking trails, which can be explored on foot, by bike or on horseback dependent on your preference.
There are a number of riding schools near Heathfield and bikes can also be hired locally.

The area in which Heathfield is located also abounds in traditional village and seaside towns.
Bransgore, the nearest village to Heathfield, is filled with excellent English pubs.
Lymington is a quaint Georgian town which hosts its famous market every Saturday.
Lyndhurst is another little town nearby where you can find the New Forest Visitor Centre, and a selection of independent shops and cafes.
Seaside
The Dorset Coast is a mere fifteen minute drive away, and peppered with untouched beaches and more traditional seaside destinations such as Christchurch, Mudeford, Poole and Bournemouth. For the archaeology and history buffs, the ancient Jurassic Coast is located less than a ninety minute drive away.
Make a splash at one of the many sailing schools and water sports activity centres along the Dorset coast or rent a boat to experience the British coast from a different perspective.
