Details

This beautifully restored 17th century residence has been in the Princes family for over 250 years, and offers guests today many of the same pleasures enjoyed by visiting kings and queens in the past.

Inside

There are 50 rooms in total at the Palazzo. In the older part of the house, the light and airy rooms and suits are very large with vaulted ceilings, luxuriously furnished, with carefully placed antiques. marble bathrooms and beautiful warm terracotta tiles. The more modern villa rooms in the park have been cleverly designed to be totally separate for two guests, or to be interconnected to form ideal accommodation for three or four people, while those rooms located on the top floor are recommended for those seeking a romantic and very private stay.

Bedrooms

Many of the rooms throughout the property have balconies and terraces overlooking the sea, the gardens or the courtyard.

Outside

Set in lush walled 5 acre gardens, with both the sea with its sandy beach and enormous freshwater pool just footsteps away, the Palazzo is a tranquil place to rest and relax but only a short work from a busy genuine fishing village.

Location

Located less than 2 hours from Naples International Airport, south of the magical Amalfi Coast, in an unspoilt corner of Italy.

The island of Capri (as well as Positano and Amalfi) can be reached by hydrofoil during high season, private boat or helicopter.

The romantic open air restaurant with candlelit tables overlooking the twinkling lights of the Amalfi Coast or Capri and listening to the waves lapping against the shore below make this an unbeatable experience. Palazzo Belmontes specialist chef presents a menu which combines the best of local ingredients with the finest dishes of the Mediterranean.

Things to Do

Fishing, scuba diving, water sports, boat trips and hiking on one of the nearby estates can be organised for guests.

For culture,  guests can enjoy some of the best attractions of Southern Italy.  There is lots of art, famous historical and archaeological sites near to Palazzo Belmonte for guest to visit. They include the magnificent Doric Temples of Paestum (25 minutes away),  Pompeii, Herculaneum and Oplontis and the town of  Vietri sul Mare, famous for its ceramics and Old Naples.
