Details
The Mill Cottage is a modest but charming house in a magical setting and has a very unique ambiance. Even though you can walk into the charming and lively village of Burford you feel as if you are in another world. Children can and run and play all day and adults can sit by the river and read and daydream the summer days away.
This house is characterised by its charming combination of the cosy english countryside decor with a bohemian flare. This creates a very relaxed environment which is echoed by the endless greenery, streams and forests that surround the property.
Inside
On the ground floor of the house there is living room leading from the hallway through to the kitchen. There is also a downstairs cloakroom and boot room.
Bedrooms
On the first floor there is a narrow hallway with a master bedroom and ensuite bathroom and a second double bedroom overlooking gardens. There are also two single bedrooms with trundle beds off the hallway. A separate bathroom with bath and integrated shower are in between the single bedrooms.
Outside
The house sits on an island surrounded by water. There is a 7 acre wood over the bridge. A shelter outside provides seating areas and table tennis and other child games. The garden is full of hammocks, swings and outdoor seating areas. There is also a little rowing boat. Furthermore, the property comes with an original Airstream trailer which can be used for outdoor camping adventure (there is no loo or shower.)
