The house can act as the base for up to thirty guests. Sixteen guests can stay at Thyme House itself and there is with space for a further fourteen to stay in style at The Courtyard nearby. Here four gorgeous Cotswold cottages are set around a stylish courtyard specially designed by Bunny Guinness.

Inside

Luxurious country chic style abounds here with an eclectic mix of English and French furniture from Cotswold artists. For entertaining there are plenty of stylish spaces, all beautifully decorated. The house has several reception rooms, including a wonderfully comfortable drawing room with 2 open fire places, a magnificent dining hall and cosy entertainment snugs.

8 bedrooms. Beautifully furnished. All the bedrooms are en suite with luxurious bathrooms.

Outside

For after dinner coffee spread out onto the terrace and relax on the comfy outdoor sofas.

Staff & Dining

There is a huge state-of-the-art kitchen with double aspect sliding glass doors overlooking the gardens fully equipped with double oven and range cookers.

Dining at Thyme House is a real pleasure. Settle down at the big table for 16 in the oak-beamed and glass-fronted dining area. Create a wonderful dining experience with the glass doors fully open to soak up the the garden views.

Thyme is catered with staff and a private chef throughout your stay and any celebrations or bespoke requirements can be catered for.

Optional honesty bar or staffed drink service.

Lunch and dinner can be taken in the restaurant or private dining room of the village pub, The Swan at Southrop, or by arrangement in Thyme House.

Things to Do

For a special meal out, the award winning Swan is just a short stroll away. The private room and skittle alley at The Swan, with its wood log burners, glistening chandeliers and beamed ceiling, is hugely popular for special celebrations, wine tastings, leisurely lunches and all types of private events. It seats up to 28 people and can accommodate 50 people for a cocktail party. Also available, in-room treatments and massages can be arranged on request. Bespoke events and cookery courses.
