In Stresa it is possible to take a boat trip to the Borromean Islands to visit the magnificent gardens and sumptuous buildings. The local cuisine is very good and the typical products of the area – which include cheese and wine – are excellent.

Details
The villa, which has a clearly modern design, is distributed over two floors and consists of three parts. It has large sliding windows overlooking the lake and flat roofs filled with greenery situated above the deck level swimming pool with waterfall that appears to flow directly into the lake.
Inside
The central space consists of a spacious living area with 8m glass door, that leads onto the covered patio which offers breathtaking panoramic views.
The kitchen has a central island and is fully-equipped. Opposite is the lounge area with sofa. There is also a dining table that seats 10 people. On the downstairs floor is a recreation room which has a home theatre system. The room also has a large iron table seating 10 people and a comfortable sofa. There is also a laundry room that has a bathroom with bathtub and shower.
Bedrooms
The part of the building positioned towards the road has two double bedrooms with large glass windows offering views of the lake. Great care has been taken with every detail of these bedrooms that share a bathroom with a large, fully resin-lined shower and a spacious closet cubicle. The part of the building that faces onto the little wood, also part of the property, has a small bedroom with twin beds, a charming bathroom with fully resin-lined shower, and a master bedroom that has an adjoining bathroom with a shower lined in Desert Dark stone.
Both sides of the master bedroom have enormous glass windows that offer splendid views of the swimming pool and lake.
Outside
The swimming pool is accessed via a convenient staircase and has an internal bench on which guests can lie down and admire the scenery. The pool is completely lined in the same stone used for the external pathways in order to give a sense of continuity and to recreate the color of the lake, in the sunshine. It has an outdoor shower with hot and cold water and, at night, offers striking scenic effects thanks to the LED spotlight illumination.
The whole building is surrounded by a magnificent, carefully tended lawn, planted with minimalist local tree species and enriched with a spectacular, fragrant expanse of lavender below the swimming pool to create the ideal ambient for relaxing and enjoying the summer days.
